Heritage charm with warm hospitality

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by friendly staff, including Tyronne, who made us feel at home. The city view from our spacious room was a perfect ending to our day.

The loud live music from the bar echoed through the building, making it difficult to relax after our flight. It would be better if this ended earlier.

the rooms were huge and clean, with a nice city view. loved the tea and coffee in the room. great location, super close to food options like burger king and kfc. friendly staff who helped with our bags. the walk to fort railway station was easy and flat.

The single towel policy leaves a lot to be desired, especially when navigating slippery marble floors after a shower. The noise from live music in the bar echoes through the rooms and can disrupt your relaxation. the courtyard view rooms might not offer the scenic vistas you'd expect, given the presence of air conditioning units obstructing the view.

Spacious premium room

The Deluxe Room was super clean and cozy. I really enjoyed having some tea in the lovely garden area while unwinding with a good book. They had some nice spots for relaxation, like hammocks and a pretty fountain that made the atmosphere chill. Just a heads up, I wish they provided more coffee mugs in the room, but overall, I had a wonderful experience! 😊

I spent four nights here and the shower was fantastic—definitely the best I’ve experienced! Breakfast had a lovely selection of both Sri Lankan and European dishes, which I really enjoyed. The pillows were wonderful, but the mattress on one of the beds was sagging a bit, which was a let-down. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Had a great time with friends at this hotel! The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like the lighthouse and Old Parliament Building. The spacious rooms were clean, and the pub had a fantastic ambiance at night. Breakfast had loads of options too, making it easy for everyone to find something they liked.

One downside was the food we ordered at the pub. it was overly oily and not appetizing. When we mentioned it to the staff, they didn't seem concerned.

I stayed in the Premium Room with City View, and honestly, it was massive! The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower. The location was great too, just a quick tuktuk ride to the Fort railway station. Only downside was the lack of a window in some rooms, but the staff really tried to make my stay nice. The breakfast was made to order and pretty tasty too!

The vibe was good, and the aesthetics were pretty. Had a great time enjoying the food at the restaurant, the mango mojito was honestly one of the best I’ve had!

It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable.

Free Wi-Fi was great and the flat-screen TV was nice. Just wished for more parking spots.

One concern was that there could be a wider variety of towels available.
